ENDURE IQ 201

The Practical Application of Heart Rate Variability for Endurance Training

ENROLL HERE
HRV is one way to stop guessing and start making informed decisions around your endurance training.

This online course consists of two modules from our yet to be released LDT104: Athlete Monitoring course. In EIQ201 you'll learn about the background and measurement of HRV, and how to apply it practically to monitoring and guiding training in athletes. You'll understand expected HRV changes with regards to positive adaptation to training as well as negative adaptation to training (aka overtraining), as well as walk away with practical ways that you can use HRV to guide training on a block by block and day to day basis.

WHAT?

Heart Rate Variability to track training adaptation and guide training.

SO WHAT?

HRV gives insights into the athletes' autonomic nervous system, and now through smart technology the application of HRV to athletes is easier than ever. Understanding how HRV changes in response to training and fatigue can help guide athletes to superior training and therefore performance outcomes.

NOW WHAT?

HRV can help inform training decisions on a micro and macro level, but the devil is in the detail. Having a strong and firm understanding of how to interpret changes in relation to training is fundamental to success. It's all covered in EIQ 201.

"LDT103 does a great job of breaking down the science into easily implementable techniques which can be applied to training and racing in both temperate and hot conditions. Needless to say learning how to maximise the heat for my own gains has been the best thing I’ve done to improve my performance at key races. "

Lewis Ryan
Triathlete

"Your course has fundamentally enhanced my long-distance athletic performance as well as my overall health and well-being.  Most importantly, though, your course provided me with the information (and self-confidence!) to finally find a balance between athletic performance and health and wellness. "

L. Glaesemann
LDT101 Graduate

"Great course that will be helpful to any athlete (or coach) preparing for races in the heat (such as Kona). I love that Endure IQ courses take the science and pull it apart for practical application. I also love that the presenters are obviously passionate and invested in endurance sport and cut through the blizzard of bullshit marketing information in the world to provide education based on fact."
