Meet Aaron Geiser

Aaron has spent two decades coaching, the last nine of them dedicated to endurance sport, with a foundation in the science rather than the sport itself: a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and Sports Medicine, and certification as an ACSM Exercise Physiologist.

That background changes what coaching looks like day to day. Most training plans are templates with your name on top. Aaron's are built from physiology and then adjusted against what your data and your body actually report back - session by session, not quarter by quarter.

His athletes are typically experienced, analytical and short on time. People with careers and families who have ten to fourteen genuinely available hours a week and need every one of them to do a job. The work is individual: no group programming, no plan handed over and left to run.

Sessions are governed by rate of perceived exertion, heart rate, and power together - and when two of those three disagree with the third, that's information worth acting on rather than ignoring. An athlete arriving at a threshold session already carrying fatigue doesn't need the prescribed watts. They need the right stimulus for the body that showed up that day.

Aaron also coaches several things most coaches don't: fat-adapted and low-carbohydrate fueling for athletes whose physiology suits it, aerodynamic position and equipment decisions through a vetted network of professional fitters, and strength work integrated into an endurance season rather than bolted on beside it.
